Duties and Responsibilities:

• Helps in labeling, storing, and organizing materials in the warehouse for easy identification and tracking.
• Assists in receiving, inspecting for defects and quantity, and recording of incoming construction materials, tools, and equipment.
• Helps in regular inventory checks and maintain accurate record of stock levels
• Maintains a clean, safe and organized warehouse environment.
• Conducts routine inspections of the warehouse to identify and address hazards such as leaks or structural damage and reports them to the Warehouseman.
• Report any loss, damage or defect of items to the Warehouseman, Project Engineer or PIC.
• Assists the supplier in unloading and organizing the materials on the construction site for efficient use by workers.
• If the warehouseman is absent, maintains an inventory of tools and equipment at the site and ensures that they are returned after use; records all incoming and outgoing materials in the inventory management system. Regularly uses the Material Receiving Report, Material Issuance Slip, Tools and Equipment Logbook and keeps them signed by the contractors or workers as the materials and tools are delivered or issued.
• Suggests ways to maintain, protect, improve or maximize the warehouse.
• Completes any tasks that may be assigned to him by the PIC or CM

Job Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in warehouse management is a plus.
• At least 1-2 years of experience as a warehouseman, preferably in the construction industry.
• Knowledge of construction materials, tools, and equipment is an advantage.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Able to lift heavy materials and equipment.
• Proficient in basic computer applications (e.g., MS Excel, inventory software).
• Honest, reliable, and detail-oriented.
